WAL how to strike a volley ball.
We know that a strike in volley ball is when we tap the ball with our fingertips to push it through the air.
When we strike a volley ball above our head we
- bend our fingers slightly to form a diamond shape
- use our fingertips to push the ball
- leave a gap between the ball and our palm (the middle of our hand)
To practice this skill we used balloons. It was too windy outside so we practiced inside the classroom. It was HEAPS of fun.

Great PE skills. It is so great to learn volleyball skills with a balloon. Looks like fun too.
